IDBI’s mobile banking facility launched in Nagpur

Public sector lender IDBI Bank has introduced its mobile banking facility in Nagpur. The facility had started its way from Mumbai.
The mobile banking bus of the bank has been named ‘Vikas Yatra.’
The bus has BSNL telephones installed in it as well as a GPS system so as to monitor the movement of the bus, said IDBI Bank chairman cum managing director Mr R M Malla.
The movement through the bus is aimed to increase the penetration of banking facilities in the country as part of financial inclusion.
Mr Malla said that the bus would be reaching six lakh villages of India.
